I had met Missy- but never knew her. All I know of her is what I learned from the people who love her and spoke for her at her memorial service. O how poorer the Earth is for having lost her. If the life of her shown through the memories and eulogies of her friends was so bright surely she was an incandescent in person. & Is incandescent even more now- in death than in life. For though the the Earth is a pauper for her absence- heaven is richer for her presence. The light of her life is now with that Light in Who's image she was made. And we know that just as she was changed from her glory in life to her glory in death (for precious to the Lord is the death of his children) she will be changed- gloriously- once again. When the trumpet sounds- when the brightness of the sun is put to shame by the Light- Missy will be raised from the grave just as her Lord was raised from the grave. Praise God! What a day of rejoicing that will be!
