April 12, 2005 - 12:04 AM Officer Marc Combs from Santa Maria area tmc9212@msn.com I was the first officer to arrive on scene at Missy's accident. I am an EMT and the paramedics showed up just after me. Because I am an EMT and had been on the job for 20 years at that time, I knew we were going to lose Missy. Let me tell you now... she was unconscious and unresponsive. I'm not saying this to make you feel better; I'm saying this because I am a Christian and servant of Jesus Christ our Lord. I attend Calvary Chapel of Santa Maria and serve as a worship leader. As I looked around the accident scene, I saw her oboe music and the family pictures which I picked up with the sheet music. I also saw that she attended Biola. The pictures made me cry... The Holy Spirit told me who she was... a Saint of God. So at that moment I stopped, bowed my head and prayed to our Lord to welcome this Saint into His Kingdom. I'm sorry it took so long for me to tell you this, but know, at that moment the Holy Spirit was present, the Angels were present to escort her to Heaven and I was there as a witness to tell the story. All these things occurred exactly according to the will of the Lord. Amen. |
