Your daughter was very lucky to have be born so beautiful and to a wonderful family. I know how your heart must ache. I am sorry, I wish I could ease your pain. I too have pain, but it is different, my daughter was born with a severe birth defect. She is normal inside, but is severely physically and medically involved. She is sick often and the doctors have done all they can do. She is sad, lonely and it is hard to see it all. Your daughter had good days here on Earth, she loved and was loved. God is the only one who must truly understand what this journey is all about.

Something I wondered after writing to you. I held one of my daughters after she died. Her name is Brittany. She was gone before I ever got her. She had died in my womb 12 hours before her too soon birth. But I want to share the miracle. When I held Brittany, her lifeless body, I saw a full sized baby girl. Able to tell what she had of who, legs, nose, mouth, toes. And for years I said how amazing it was that she was so full and like a normal baby. My mother and my husband where there with me, my sister and Pastor came after but got to see her. Years after hearing me tell my story of how she looked they actually showed me infact on how small she was. She was born at 5 months of pregnancy, she was the size of a hand. Her foot prints were the size of a childs pinky. God is amazing. I was wondering if now that I have come across your path, if your Missy is holding my Brittany. One day we shall know. Thank you again, Missy Green

I typed in my name and found you. Another Christan family that could be my own. I am 28 years old turning 29 on May 4th.I have two little girls Kelli-Ann 5years and Brianna 3years. Kelli - Ann has her Kindergarten Graduation this Friday night at 7:00p.m. and she turns 6 on May 27th. After seeing the young pictures of your Missy, I felt as if the Lord was telling me again to hold on tight to these precious times I have with my girls. I am married to a wonderful man named Brett Green. He grew up in California. We visit atleast once every two years. His grandmother is Alice Green she lives in Sunnyvale. His family is Fresno and San Jose. I guess that is why I am drawn to you. We are Christians and I will meet your Missy someday and also all of you.My prayer for you and your family is that the Lord will bless you indeed, enlarge your territories, keep you from evil and evil from you and for Him to keep His hand upon you. If anyone is not saved then I pray for the Lord to rebuke satan and his attacks on them in the name of Jesus. On Friday at 7:00 p.m. I will be thinking of you and your Missy. While my little girl walks across the stage, I will remember you and your family. I will pray for you. Because of Jesus, Missy Green

Oh my goodness--- I accidentally found this website, but it was so absorbing. Your love and dedication to your daughter is amazing. I have three children and one on the way, and I must say that you have unbelievable strength and faith in God. You are very admirable parents and I am sure Missy treasured your love for her. May your wounds slowly heal and may your memories of Missy always put smiles on your faces. --- Michelle

"I found your site by accident, and clicked on it...I read it from end to end...If there were any words that would hasten the healing, they would be priceless...the obligatory "Im sorry for your loss" seems shallow and contrived....however, my thoughts are with you, and I hope that time will meld your grief into fond memories of a life well spent, albeit way too short....I leave you with the last line from "Box of Rain"....such a long, long, time to be gone, and a short time to be here....... Take care. "

I was searching the internet and just happened to stumble upon Missy's website. It touched me personally because Missy and I are almost exactly the same age. I am sorry for your loss- may you find comfort in that Missy is in a better place now.

Missy, my dear, I can't quite believe it's been three years since you went home to Jesus. You have been on my mind a great deal lately. I lit a candle for you in the chapel at the Carmel Mission the other day - did you see? I felt your presence there. We're all still quite sad, wishing you were here, but it's spring and the roses are blooming again.... a reminder of a hope of beautiful things to come when we meet with you again in Paradise. Until that day, love - Marcie
